RK MEN AND WOMEN CUP 2018 FINAL CLASSICAL CHESS

From December 15 to 24, 2018, two final competitions of the Men and Women Classical Chess Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take place in Astana. The final competitions of the RK Men and Women Cup are conducted according to the rotation system separately among men and women.

The members of the Final among men are 10 sportsmen:
5 Kazakhstani chess players who got the most points as a result of 3 stages of the RK Cup 2018:

3 foreign participants who got the most points as a result of 3 stages 2018:
— Vladimir Burmakin – Russia
— Igor Kovalenko – Latvia
— Aleksandr Fiyer – Brazil

The winner of the RK Cup 2017 Final among women:
– Anaur Ismagambetov

1 nominee of the KCF will be also included into the finalists list of the RK Cup 2018

Time control – 1 hour 30 minutes to each participant until the end of the game + 30 seconds for each move made, starting with the first.

The winners and medalists will be awarded with diplomas, medals and money prizes. The total prize fund is 3,000,000 tenge.

The winner of the RK Cup Final among men gets the right to participate in the RK Cup 2019 Final among men if the winner is the KCF member (sportsman).
The winner of the RK Cup Final among women gets the right to participate in the RK Cup 2019 Final among women if the winner is the KCF member (sportswoman).
