The European Club Championship was completed in Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, which brought together strong teams. Dinara Saduakasova and Madina Davletbayeva participated as a part of “Gambit Asseco” team.
Beside our players the team included the ex-world champion Antoinette Stefanova (Bulgaria), Aleksandra Goryachkina (Russia) and Shen Yang (China). At the end of competition the team captured “silver”. Dinara Saduakasova on the 4th board scored 5 points in seven games. And reserve player, Madina Davletbayeva, within three games, gained 2.5 points in favor of the team. Congratulations to our girls on their success!
The 10th Republican Chess Tournament For Students for the Cup of international grandmaster Darmen Sadvakassov will be held in November 3-10, 2015 in Almaty. The organizer of competitions is the Republican Scientific and Practical Center “Daryn”. The tournament will be held with organizational and financial support of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation. The purpose of the Cup is promotion and popularization of the ancient game among school children, development their intellectual and creative abilities. The tournament is attended by the teams from every region of Kazakhstan, Astana, Almaty and JSC “Nazarbayev intellectual schools”. The opening ceremony of the tournament will be held in November 4 in the “Kazakhstan” resort. 150 students of the country are expected to take part in the tournament.

Darmen Sadvakasov – is Kazakhstan chess player, five-time champion of Kazakhstan among men, the winner of international tournaments in the USA, Yugoslavia, Spain, etc., the World Junior Champion, international grandmaster, awarded with the order “Kurmet” and “Parasat”.
Today, in October 21 the International University of Information Technologies in Almaty held a meeting with Ms. Gulmira Dauletova the prize-winner of Chess Olympiad in Tromso (Norway). Gulmira is an international chess master and the Deputy Director of the Kazakhstan Chess Federation. She told young people about her success in chess, and answered the questions of students and teachers. At the end of the meeting Gulmira gave a simultaneous play with 18 representatives of the University. Damir Shynybekov, the president of IUIT also took part in the event.
The World Chess Championship 2015 among people with reduced capabilities started in Dresden
Kazakhstan chess player, repeat winner of international competitions, Bolat Kasyanov, took part in the World Championship.

World Chess Championship for Disabled 2015 started with the Opening Ceremony in the Philharmonic Hall in the Windham Garden Dresden hotel at 19.00 in October 17, 2015.
The championship has brought together 67 participants from 14 national federations to participate in the individual competition. 14 teams will compete for the title of World Champion in the Team World Chess Championship among people with reduced capabilities. The World Championship in Dresden is held for the second time and organised by ZMDI Schachfestival Dresden e.V.
The opening ceremony started with a welcome speech of the President of ZMDI Schachfestival Dresden e.V. Dr. Dirk Joran. He welcomed all the participants and guests of the championship, thanked everyone who provided support in the organization and holding the tournament and wished the participants a good luck and victories.
The opening ceremony of the championship was visited by the following guests: Prime Minister of Saxony, Dr. Stanislav Tilik, the mayor of the city of Dresden, Dr. Peter Lams, the President of the Chess Federation of Germany Mr. Herbert Bastian, the Chairman of the FIDE Committee for the Disabled, Mr. Thomas Luther and FIDE Executive Director Mr. Nigel Freeman.
The participants of the championship enjoyed the performance presented by children with the flags of the federations participating in the Championships in Dresden.
The 1st round of the World Chess Championship for Disabled will start tomorrow, in October 18, 2015 at 9.30.
Kazakhstan’s rapid chess team championship dedicated to the memory of S. Seifulin will be held in October 16-18, 2015 in Karaganda.
The teams from Shymkent, Astana, Pavlodar, Akmola region, Aktobe,Taraz and Kostanay will take part in the competition. Karaganda will be represented by 3 teams. The tournament was attended by 40 participants. The event will get involved such eminent grand masters as Murtas Kazhgaleyev (Shymkent), Petr Kostenko (Kostanay), Anuar Ismagambetov (Astana), Rustam Husnutdinov (Karaganda) and Serikbay Temirbayev (Akmola region).

Kazakhstan captured silver Asian Seniors Chess Championship
The 6th Asian Seniors Chess Championship completed the beginning of October in the Iranian city of Larestan. The competition was held in two categories: from 50 to 65 years old and over 65 years old. At the Championship Kazakhstan was represented by Badamshina Bakhyt (Pavlodar) and Baimurzin Aitkazy (Taraz). According to the results of our chess player became the silver medalist of the Asian Championship among women over 65 years old. It should be noted that B. Badamshina is also the silver medalist of Kazakhstan Chess Championship 2015 among women.
