ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN CHESS AMONG MEN AND WOMEN

The Asian Championship in chess among men and women will be held in the city of Cintai of the People’s Republic of China from 6 to 16 June. Continental chess players will compete for a prize fund of 80,000 USD. The tournament will be held according to the Swiss system in 9 rounds.

7 June 1:30 pm – opening ceremony
7 June, 2:00 pm – 1 round
8 June, 2:00 pm – 2 round
9 June, 2:00 pm – 3 round
10 June, 2:00 pm – 4 round
11 June, 2:00 pm – 5 round
12 June, 2:00 pm – 6 round
13 June, 2:00 pm – 7 round
14 June, 2:00 pm – 8 round
15 June, 9:00  am – 9 round
15 June, 3:00 pm – Blitz Championship
15 June 8:00 pm – award ceremony
16 June – departure of participants

Those wishing to participate in the competition must make payment by 3 May to the Chinese Chess Federation and send:

  1. Application for participation (download here);
    2 Application for visa (download here);
    Scanned copies of passports;
    3. your digital photo;
    4. a copy of the documents confirming the payment;
    To Kazakhstan Chess Federation by email kamilya.a@kazchess.kz.

Payment to be made:

  • registration fee – 100 USD;
  • tournament fee for official participants – 150 USD, for additional participants 300 USD,
  • the cost of living in a hotel for 10 days (3 meals a day) – single room 1133 USD, double room 716 USD.

Documents are accepted until 5 pm 24 April.

Applications received after this date are not registered. Registration of participants is carried out only upon confirmation of full payment for all the above articles. The payment receipts must indicate the name of the paid participant and for what exactly the payment was made.
