KAZAKHSTAN WILL TAKE PART IN THE “WHITE ROOK”

From 1 to 11 June, in the Russian city of Sochi, the open All-Russian chess competition “White Rook” will be held among teams of educational institutions. Each team consists of 5 participants, including 4 players and 1 coach. One of the players is the captain. The tournament is held according to the Swiss system with 9 rounds.

Tournament schedule:
1 June – arrival
1 June, from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm – meeting of the selection committee
1 June, 7:00 pm – opening ceremony
1 June, 8:00 pm – meeting of team representatives
1 June, 10:30 pm – meeting of arbitrators
1 June, 11:59 pm – drawing
2 June, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm – 1 round
from 3 to 10 June, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm – 2-9 round
10 June, 5:00 pm – closing ceremony and awarding of participants
11 June – departure of participants

At the tournament Kazakhstan will be represented by students of the Lyceum School №1 from Nur-Sultan, who became the winners of the school league competitions “Akbozat”:

Winners and prize-winners in individual competitions are awarded with medals and diplomas of the Russian Chess Federation. The teams that take the first three places in the final receive cups, certificates and special prizes from the Russian Chess Federation. Teams are awarded with medals and certificates of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation. All teams participating in the final competitions receive certificates from the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. All participants of the final competition will be awarded with souvenirs from the Russian Chess Federation.
