From December 7 to 8, 2018, the International Chess Tournament dedicated to the Independence Day of the RK will take place in Almaty. The tournament will be held according to the Swiss system Rapid in 9 rounds, time control: 15 minutes with added 10 seconds for each move. 40 people from 4 countries willl take part in the tournamant. Applications for participations will be received till December 5, 2018.

Tournament schedule:
December 6 – participants arrival and registration
December 7, 10:00 a.m. – drawing, rounds 1-5
December 8, 10:00 a.m. – rounds 6-9
December 8, 04:00 p.m. – awarding and closing
December 10  – participants departure

The contest prize fund will make 350,000,000 tenge.
For men:
1st place – 60,000 ths. tenge
2ns place – 50,000 ths. tenge
3rd place – 40,000 ths. tenge
4th place – 25,000 ths. tenge
5th place – 20,000 ths. tenge
6th place – 15,000 ths. tenge
7th place – 10,000 ths. tenge
8th place – 10,000 ths. tenge
9th place – 8,000 ths. tenge
10th place – 7,000 ths. tenge

For women:
1st place – 40,000 ths. tenge
2nd place – 25,000 ths. tenge
3rd place – 15,000 ths. tenge
4th place – 10,000 ths. tenge
5th place – 8,000 ths. tenge
6th place – 7,000 ths. tenge
