In the eastern part of the Sea of Marmara, 50 km from Istanbul – in the city of Gebze the World Chess Championship for participants under 20 will be held from September 4 to 16. The winners of the tournament have the right to receive the title of the Grandmaster (GM), silver and bronze medalists – international master (IM).
The World Championship will be held on the Swiss system in 11 rounds. The total prize fund of the tournament is 10,000 euros, the prize for the first place is 3,000 euros.

All Kazakhstan chess players can participate in the World Championship. To participate, official participants must pay a FIDE contribution – 70 euros, for additional participants – 140 euros. All participants pay a registration fee of 100 euros. It is also necessary to pay 50% of the cost of living, the rest – upon arrival in Turkey.
